Jennifer Wong, Ph.D., is a leader and advocate transforming how society supports older adults. As Interim Executive Director of Life Story Club, she’s expanding the organization’s innovative model to reach more isolated members in New York City, building a network that uplifts older adults. She brings hands-on program management experience paired with policy expertise to help Life Story Club connect with more partners and bring older adults the purpose, belonging, and joy they deserve.
Prior to her role at Life Story Club, Dr. Wong served as the inaugural director of Wallis Annenberg GenSpace, Los Angeles’ groundbreaking community center designed for older adults. Under her leadership, GenSpace pioneered a new model for age-inclusive spaces, offering comprehensive services and community-driven programming tailored to older adults and their families.
Dr. Wong helped shape California’s Master Plan on Aging and has developed aging and disability health care policies at the city, county, state, and federal level, offering a depth of understanding of the systemic challenges and solutions in aging services to help prepare for the demographic shift underway.
With a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and expertise in behavioral health, integrated care, and social determinants of health, Dr. Wong brings the skills and knowledge to create systems that empower older adults to thrive.
A recognized leader in longevity and health aging, Dr. Wong has shared her insights at premier conferences including the Social Innovation Summit, Milken Institute Global Conference, Future of Health Summit, and more.
